OPP Study Awarded 3rd Place in AJPM Childhood Obesity Challenge
The Obesity Prevention Program’s STAR intervention was awarded 3rd place in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine's Childhood Obesity Challenge! The Challenge was to highlight clinical innovations for childhood obesity. STAR highlights the use of health information and mobile technology for improving clinical management of obesity and supporting families outside of the clinical setting.

The study found that more than a third of families reported financial burden and higher than expected out-of-pocket costs associated with their health care.Read More
