Katherine Yih, PhD, MPH
Dr Yih is a biologist and epidemiologist with domestic and international experience in infectious disease surveillance and immunization. Her interests include changes in the epidemiology of vaccine-preventable diseases in response to mass immunization. At the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute, she oversees active surveillance for vaccine adverse events for the national Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), manages a collaboration on laboratory-based surveillance in Argentina with the Models of Infectious Disease Agent Study (MIDAS), and participates in the Electronic Medical Record Support for Public Health (ESP) project of one of the national Centers of Excellence in Public Health Informatics on influenza-like illness and herpes zoster epidemiology and reporting.
