Larissa Nekhlyudov, MD, MPH
Dr. Nekhlyudov is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a general internist at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. Her research spans across the spectrum of breast cancer and aims to improve women's decision making and quality of life. She is particularly interested in improving the care of cancer survivors and the interplay between primary care and oncology care. Dr. Nekhlyudov has published numerous original manuscripts in leading cancer and general medicine journals. She has obtained funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Nekhlyudov has a number of local and national leadership roles. She currently serves as the Director of Cancer Research in the Department of Population Medicine, Director of the National Cancer Institute-funded Community Practice Core at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, and Associate Site Director in the National Cancer Institute-funded HMO Cancer Research Network. She is on the Advisory Board of the Massachusetts Cancer Registry. Dr. Nekhlyudov teaches at Harvard Medical School, and in 2007 received the Society of General Internal Medicine Junior Faculty Education Award.
