Maureen Connelly

Dr. Connelly is a Professor and Senior Associate Dean for Academic and Community Affairs at Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine, Pasadena, CA. Her current research focus is on faculty development, mentoring, and equitable approaches to faculty recruitment and promotion.

Dr. Connelly received a bachelor’s degree from Yale University, an MD degree from Cornell University Medical College, and an MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health.

Previously, she spent 25 years at Harvard Medical School, where she most recently served as Dean for Faculty Affairs, supporting all aspects of faculty career development. As a general internist, she practiced as a primary care physician at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, Boston, where she developed a menopause consultation service.
