Jenny Sun is a research fellow in the Department of Population Medicine at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. She received her PhD in Population Health Sciences (area of specialization: Pharmacoepidemiology) at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research focuses on using health care databases to evaluate therapeutics, with a particular interest in the use and safety of medications in children and adolescents and the areas of mental health and obesity. She also has an interest in applying novel methodological tools to improve the validity of pharmacoepidemiologic studies.
She is conducting her postdoctoral research in the Division of Chronic Disease Research Across the Lifecourse (CoRAL) and the Division of Therapeutics and Infectious Disease Epidemiology (TIDE) with Dr. Jason Block and Dr. Darren Toh.
