Sabrina Faleschini, PhD, is a research fellow in the Department of Population Medicine at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. She received her PhD in psychology from Laval University (Quebec, Canada). Her research focuses on early social and biological determinants of child development, including preterm birth and maternal physical and mental health. She aims to better understand developmental pathways and processes involved in difficulties of normative and at-risk children. She is currently working with Marie-France Hivert to study mechanisms involved in behavioral and cognitive development of children and adolescents following exposure to prenatal maternal risk factors.
