Shangyuan Ye is a research fellow in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute and Harvard Medical School. He received his PhD in Statistics from the Oklahoma State University. His statistical research interests lie in statistical methods development and applications in health care policy and health services research studies. His recent work includes improved model selection methods for hospital ranking, simulation-based power and sample size calculation for interrupted time series models of count outcomes, and evaluating the effect of within-cluster correlation in vaccine studies.
