During her year as an HMS Pharmaceutical Policy Research Fellow in 2002-2003, Dr. Pearson worked as a pharmacoepidemiologist examining the discriminatory effects of a state triplicate prescription program on benzodiazepine use.
Dr. Pearson subsequently joined the Faculty of Pharmacy and the School of Public Health, University of Sydney in 2012. Recently, she started a new position as the head of the Medicines Policy Research Unit at the University of New South Wales’s newly-created Centre for Big Data Research in Health.
