John Connolly

Research Scientist II

John Connolly is an Epidemiologist in the Therapeutics and Infectious Disease Epidemiology group at the Department of Population Medicine at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute and Harvard Medical School. He currently works on the FDA-sponsored Sentinel Initiative for drug safety surveillance.  Prior to joining the Department of Population Medicine, Dr. Connolly received both his Sc.M. and Sc.D. in Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health where his research focused primarily on confounder misclassification in administrative claims data.  During his doctoral training, he also served as an ORISE fellow in the Office of Generic Drugs at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
