Kirsten Gallant

Kirsten Gallant is a second-year PhD student in Health Policy (Decision Sciences) at Harvard University and has recently joined the CHeRP Division as a Research Fellow, where she will work with Dr. Davene Wright. Kirsten earned a BA in Economics from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia and began her career at the Bank of Canada in the Financial Stability Department, where she supported regulatory policy initiatives and contributed to the Bank’s early efforts in climate-related risk analysis and management. After completing an MSc in Health Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE), Kirsten spent three years as a consultant at Analysis Group in London and most recently returned as a Healthcare Associate Intern in Boston. Her work has spanned epidemiology, health economics and outcomes research, real-world evidence generation, and survey-based research, including discrete choice experiments. Kirsten is interested in maternal and child health research and healthcare decision-making under uncertainty, with a particular focus on medication use and treatment trade-offs during the periconception and pregnancy periods.
