Research Focus

Landon Hughes is an Institute faculty member in the Division of Chronic Disease Research Across the Lifecourse (CoRAL). Dr. Hughes completed a Ph.D. in Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of Michigan, a postdoctoral fellowship in Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a BA in Sociology and Political Science at Grand Valley State University. His research utilizes demographic methods to examine morbidity, mortality, and mental health outcomes among LGBTQ populations and considers the effects of social factors on health and aging.
