Sruthi Adimadhyam, B.Pharm, MS, PhD
Research Focus
Sruthi Adimadhyam is a Senior Research Scientist at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute and a Research Associate in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She holds a PhD and an MS in Pharmacy (focus: pharmacoepidemiology) from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
With over a decade of experience in pharmacoepidemiologic research, Dr. Adimadhyam specializes in the safety and effectiveness of drugs and vaccines using real-world data. She has authored more than 25 peer-reviewed publications and has extensive experience conducting observational post-authorization safety studies using multiple databases in a distributed environment. Her current work involves regulatory-grade drug and vaccine safety assessments in pregnant populations.
Dr. Adimadhyam also teaches evidence-based medicine and pharmacoepidemiologic methods to doctoral and medical students, serves as an invited reviewer for scientific journals, and has presented her research at international conferences.
