Tarun Ramesh is an internal medicine resident physician at Massachusetts General Hospital and research fellow at the Division of Health Policy and Insurance Research (HPI) in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. Dr. Ramesh graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Medical School and studies provider workforce, rural health, global health workforce migration, critical care policy, and healthcare consolidation. His research has been published in The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, BMJ, and The Lancet. Dr. Ramesh has previously worked at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the DHHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, and the Center for American Progress.
