Ye Shen, MSPH, PhD candidate
Research Focus
Ye Shen is a PhD candidate in the Harvard PhD Program in Health Policy (Decision Sciences). Her research spans two fields: 1) health decision science and 2) health services, outcomes, and policy research. At their intersection, Ye's core research agenda applies microsimulation modeling to examine how the fragmented U.S. health system shapes childhood insurance coverage, care utilization, and outcomes, with implications for insurance policy and care delivery strategies. In addition, she has led and contributed to decision analyses, disease simulation modeling, and experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations addressing diverse health policy questions and clinical domains. Ye holds a MSPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BA from Tufts University.
