Our clinician-researchers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic kept pace, producing high-impact work on the evolving novel coronavirus and its effect on hospitals and healthcare workers. Jonathan Harland was a psychiatrist at the Atrius Health Burlington practice, and Medical Director of the Center for Education at the Atrius Health Academic Institute. He earned his medical degree from SUNY @ Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Harland has been an exemplary clinician, teacher and physician leader who has demonstrated a sustained commitment to medical education in the Harvard community. He is an Instructor in Population Medicine, Part-time.
Alan Weitberg serves as Medical Director of the Academic Institute. In his first year at Atrius Health, Dr. Weitberg worked to centralize all academic activities at Atrius Health to form the Academic Institute and its unique Center structure - Clinical Research, Education, Analytics & Informatics, and Innovation.
