Ann WuJoanne SordilloSharon Lutz and colleagues' publication "Longitudinal analysis of bronchodilator response in asthmatics and effect modification of age‐related trends by genotype" is featured in Pediatric Pulmonology.

"Large-scale, multi-ethnic genome-wide association study identifies novel loci contributing to asthma susceptibility in adults" was published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

"Current Status and Future Opportunities in Lung Precision Medicine Research with a Focus on Biomarkers. An American Thoracic Society/National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute Research Statement" was published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.

Chris Lu and colleagues' publication "Implementing universal Lynch syndrome screening (IMPULSS): protocol for a multi-site study to identify strategies to implement, adapt, and sustain genomic medicine programs in different organizational contexts," was featured in BMC Health Services Research.

On October 26, Dr. Ann Wu presented, "Asthma Pharmacogenetics from a Health Services Researcher's Point of View" at the Harvard School of Public Health's Program in Genetic Epidemiology and Statistical Genetics Seminar Series.

CHeRP and PROMoTeR are delighted to welcome Pamela McMahon, PhD to DPM! She has a PhD in Health Policy and Decision Science from Harvard and was an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at MGH where she was the PI of the Cancer Intervention and Surveillance Modeling Network Lung Group.  Most recently, she was a Managing Scientist at Exponent, Inc. She will serve as Project Director of Ann Wu’s Precision Medicine Policy and Treatment (PreEMT) Model projects.  She is a person with many talents and is also an amazing artist!​​

Joanne Sordillo, Peter Kraft, Ann Wu and Maryam Asgari's publication "Quantifying the Polygenic Contribution to Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma Risk," is featured in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology

Maryam Asgari and colleagues published an article in Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention entitled, "Common Mitochondrial Haplogroups and Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma Risk."

Christine LuAnn Wu and colleagues published an article in the Journal of Personalized Medicine entitled, "Insurance Coverage Policies for Pharmacogenomic and Multi-Gene Testing for Cancer."

Guest speaker Dr. Eric Jorgenson presented his talk, "A View to Precision Medicine: Findings from the Research Program on Genes, Environment, and Health" on May 7th.

Christine Lu and colleagues published an article in Genetics in Medicine entitled, "Short-term costs of integrating whole-genome sequencing into primary care and cardiology settings: a pilot randomized trial." The paper has been featured by STAT news

We are happy to welcome Michael Gooch, PhD to the PROMoTeR Center as a Programmer. He comes to us from UConn Health where he earned a PhD in Biomedical Science Genetics and Genome Sciences. Michael will be working with Ann Wu on her ADAPT and PreEMT studies. We are thrilled he has joined our team!
